The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.

3. “The Parables of God’s Kingdom” Art Camp 2022 is now accepting registration. Camp Dates are 7/25-7/29 from 9 AM – Noon. Art Camp will be in-person with Art Class (for ages 5-14) or Pantry class (for ages 13-14). Please invite your child(ren) and their friends to join in singing, learning, and creating projects using God’s words! For more details and to register on-line go to https://bit.ly/artcamp22register. Space is limited! Please register before 5/31 to avoid a late fee.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

1. Please pray for the church activities
   • God will continue to purify and transform ACC so that His glory will be manifested
     through every member in their schools, families, workplaces, and neighborhood.
   • Pray for the following events that are coming up in the summer:
     • Youth Retreat DCCYC
     • Youth Mission Trips (Mission Arlington and For the Nations Refugee Outreach)
     • Summer Bible Study for the Chinese Congregation
     • Art Camp
     • English Young Adult Retreat (Thrive)
2. Prayer for church ministries
   • Members will respond to God by exercising their gifts to fulfill the needs for children’s
     ministry as well as youth ministry.
   • Food Box Distribution on May 21st.
   • Evangelical Concert on May 28th.
   • Southlake Campus’ Grand opening, and to continue to grow and have enough help.
3. Pray for our overseas workers’ health and ministries: Leeling, Dorothy, Dean & Penny,
   Derek & Chantal.
4. Prayer for church leaders
   • Wisdom to grow, lead the church and make godly decisions.
   • God will raise up a new generation of young and devoted leaders.
   • Pastor Shen’s move to ACC in June and for the house in Mansfield to be finished on
     time.
5. Prayer for the body
   • Hsiao-Lan as he continues to receive chemo treatment
   • Willis has two ruptured disks
   • Pastor Kai had cataract surgery on last Wednesday morning
   • Pray for God’s healing grace for those who are sick: David C., Shumeng, Gracy’s father,
     Ling-ling (Helen’s sister-in-law), Brenda, and Chantal, Jade’s mom, Hilary’s mom.
