The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together.

3. “The Parables of God’s Kingdom” Art Camp 2022 is now accepting registration. Please see the insert for more information.
4. Next Tuesday (5/31), the pastoral and administrative staff will be on compensatory leave, and the church office will be closed.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

1. 21 people were killed in a school shooting in Uvalde, TX, last Tuesday. Please pray for the families of those who were killed. Pray for the communities that have lost members – their anger, grief, and fear. Finally, pray for the churches to be the light in the darkness.
2. Pray that ACC is a good witness of God to our neighbors in Arlington and Southlake.
3. Pray for all the preparation work for the Grand Opening on the Southlake campus on 7/10.
4. Pray for the youths, especially pray for Pastor Kevin and Allison to minister to the youths in the Youth’s summer programs.

5. Pray for God’s provision for the helpers in the Children Ministry in Arlington and Southlake campus.

8. Pray for our overseas workers’ health and ministries: Leeling, Dorothy, Dean & Penny, Derek & Chantal.
9. Prayer for brothers and sisters in need
   • Hsiao-Lan as he continues to receive chemo treatment
   • Willis has two ruptured disks
   • Pray for God’s healing grace for those who are sick: David C., Shumeng, Gracy’s father, Ling-ling (Helen’s sister-in-law), Brenda, and Chantal.
   • Pray for Hilary’s and Jade’s moms for cancer healing and
     salvation.
