| The preaching theme of the year 2022 is “Why Church?” Through the Book of Acts and Ecclesiology, we will learn the meaning of the church that God created, and how we can worship God, grow in spirit, and share the gospel together. |
Announcements
- We will have Chinese and English Joint Worship (Arlington+ Southlake) on Christmas Sunday (12/25) at 10am. No events will be held at church on Christmas Eve.
- 2023 church retreat will be held on 10/6-10/8. We need volunteers to join the organizing committee headed by Winnie Yang. jwyang8704@yahoo.com

Thanksgiving and Prayer
- PRAY FOR THE WORLD AND MISSIONS
- Pray for the Ukraine war that God bring peace to the nations.
- Pray for the Covid situations in the world, especially for China who has seen the Covid infections skyrocketing since reversing their lock-down policy. May the Lord have mercy and use His Church to be the instrument for Salvation!
- Pray for ACC-supported missionaries that they could enjoy the Christmas and bring the message of Christmas to the communities they serve.
- PRAY FOR THE CHURCH
- Pray for the preparation of joint Christmas Sunday service on 12/25.
- As various groups gather to celebrate Christmas, pray that the joy of the Lord will fill our hearts in this Christmas season.
- Pray for Southlake campus facility search and the renewal of the current STA lease.
- Pray for the deacon nomination that God will raise up new deacons to serve His church.
- PRAY FOR EACH OTHER
- Praise God for providing a medical center that can treat Pastor Kai with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Pray for Kythrine, Jane and Ping for good rest and peace and patience in the Lord.
- Peter was sent back to hospital due to a new hemorrhage in the front lobe of the right brain. Pray for God’s mercy and healing.
- Raymond W. is doing physical therapy at a rehab center. Pray for his recovery.
- Pray for those battling cancer: Hsiao-Lan.
- Pray for the salvation and healing for Hilary’s mom, Joanne’s father and Jade’s mom.
- Pray for those who lost their family members recently: Annis, Helen, Cathy, Jessica, Jeanie, Kimnie and other families.
