Awana (Approved workmen are not ashamed) is a local and international ministry designed to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. The Awana club is held on Friday nights at Arlington Chinese Church for kids from age 3 to 6th grade.

The club’s activities include reciting scripture verses, singing worship songs, listening to Bible stories, and playing fun games. The clubbers are rewarded for recitation of scripture verses throughout the year and are recognized for their efforts at the end of the year at the Awana awards ceremony annually held mid-May.

Awana clubbers excel when their parents are involved with them in learning the curriculum during the week.

Awana Groups

The club is split into three age groups listed below with each group having their own activities:

Cubbies: Ages 3-4
“Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.” *

Sparks: Kindergarten to Grade 2
“Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.” *

T&T (Truth & Training): Grades 3-6
“The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids the truth of God’s Word, trains them to follow Him and practice His grace.” *

NOTES:	1. CLUBBERS need to be at Club no later than 7:25 PM in UNIFORM. Please enter the church when dropping off your child. The Fellowship Hall doors will remain closed during the Awana opening cermony.
	2. PARENTS please remember that clubbers are expected to be prepared for verses BEFORE club.
	3. LEADERS need to be in uniform and at club no later than 7:15 PM. Prayer time for leaders starts at 7:20 PM.
